Open Source Integrated Library Management Software- Comparative Study of Koha vs New Gen Lib

Abstract


The study aims to observe different functions, facilities and features of integrated library management software i.e Koha and New Gen Lib. A thorough analysis of both software’s have been done with latest techniques to evaluate their working and make available a suitable choice for various libraries to opt an integrated library management software. Both types of software are web-enabled and support library automation, But Koha has more specific characteristics of open source ILMS than New Gen Lib.
