Role of Education in the Development of Society

Abstract

Education is the key factor for the development of society. The association between education and development of the society is absolute and unsuspecting. Without the education, the social, economic and political development is impossible. Education increases consciousness among the people of society .It helps in reducing the conflicts which are based on caste, creed, religion and sex in the society. It helps in eradicating many social evils like female foeticide, child labour, child marriage etc. Educated people are actual means for the development of the society. Education motivates self-assurance and provides us with the things we need to participate in today’s world. Thus, this paper first examines the importance and role of education in the development of the society from the perspective of experts, and then, discusses the place of education in the development of the society.
