Incidence of sleep deprivation and its relation with academic performance of undergraduate students of Karachi.

Abstract


This study showed that decrease in sleep quantity affects academic performance of students. Day sleepiness and poor quality sleep are not associated with academic performance. There is a firm relationship between grades of students with their amount of sleep before exams.
