Relationship between education and philosophy

Abstract


Philosophy is the mother of all subjects. All branches of science and knowledge have emerged from Philosophy. Education is a lifelong process which continuous throughout the life. “Philosophy is the theory of education in its most general phase and Education is a laboratory in which philosophical distinction become concrete and tested. All the problems of education are solved by the guideline of Philosophy. It was concluded that Philosophy is theoretical aspect and Education is practical aspect both are complement to each other Without Philosophy Education become blind effort and without Education, Philosophy in cripple. The progress of human civilization is the product of education but the answer to every question is ultimately influenced by Our Philosophy of life. 

This paper looks at the contribution of Philosophy of Education and Educational Philosophy and also discuss about how Education depend on Philosophy? And how Philosophy depends on Education?
