An Overview of E- Publishing

Abstract

Today we are living in the era of digitalization in which all fields of knowledge are keenly affected by the use of ICT. If we talk about the E-publishing, it includes all digital publications of E-books, E-Pubs and Electronic Articles. Due to the development of digital libraries and catalogue, E-publishing has become a very significant and popular term in scientific knowledge world. Moreover, E-publishing is broadcasting, distributing and dissemination of information digitally using computer and communication technology in the area of all publications whether it may be in any form. Therefore, the process of creating and discriminating all information via electronic means including E-mail and via the web is E-publishing which allows anyone with access to a networked computer to publish on the internet and it avoids the distribution of a physical product. That is why; today it is growing like a wildfire in the knowledge world. It provides a platform to a new writer with the lowest cost and it is speedier. The present research paper is an overview of E-publishing in the era of digitalization of library services.
