Cross-layer Protocols for Mobile Ad-hoc networks
Abstract
OSI model is a layered reference model. It is inflexibleand every layer has a boundary which restricts the layers to shareexpertise between each other. It's suitable for the wired network however because of inflexibility, it cannot full fill the requirements of the wi-fi community. So researcher determined new cross-layer model. In this paper the investigation is on the diffrerentcrosslayer protocols and their issues and propose a cross-layer layout for energy control and link availability on the way to advance the performance of mobile adhoc networks
