Abstract


As said by Jane Austen  “Give a girl an education and introduce her properly into the world, and ten to one but she has the means of settling well, without further expense to anybody.” 
Women empowerment is the process of enabling and developing ability or potential in women so that they can think and act freely, exercises their choice and control their lives and thereby reducing discrimination and exploitation towards them. It is the process for women to redefine gender roles that allows for them to acquire the ability to choose between known alternatives that have otherwise been restricted from such ability.
