Raj Kapoor has been one of the prominent film-makers of Hindi film industry and his Cinema represents an amalgam of representation of social issues and entertainment. Representation of women in Indian Cinema has been done in various ways. Raj Kapoor has been instrumental in representing women in his Cinema in pivotal roles. Generally, his Cinema boasts of strong characterization of women but certain allegation of depiction of voyeurism has been there on Raj Kapoor.
