Reinventing Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Institutions HEI by Innovation

Abstract

In the present scenario there is a paradigm shift in the teaching-learning methods so as to produce market oriented skilled manpower.. The old curricula and traditional methods of teaching are almost obsolete as they are not able to produce job oriented skilled manpower and are being taken over by others modes of delivery in the era of Information Communication Technology (ICT). The traditional chalk and talk method has almost been replaced by the rampant use of audio-visual methods adorned with ICT (smart class rooms, interactive boards and even cloud computing in HEIs predominantly in (SFS) Self Financing Institutions in the country.
