Recombined Peer-To-Peer Content Distribution Using Automatically Recombined Fingerprints

Abstract


Due to the recent advances in broad-band network and multimedia technologies, the distribution of multimediacontents are increasing. This will help a malicious party to duplicate and redistribute the contents; hence theprotection of the ownership is required in multimedia content distribution. The encryption of content cannotsolve the issue, because it must be ultimately decrypted at genuine users who have legal authority to distributecontent. Recombined fingerprints strategy is utilized.
