Hotel Power Management System with Inrared Sensor

Abstract

This is a unique designed to save electricity bills especially in hotel environment. Its normally happens that guests in a hotel while leaving the room, often leave the lights and fans ON. Normally the consumers surrender the key to the reception staff while leaving. If the reception staffs fail to check the room, power will be wasted. This is designed to monitor the movement of the persons in the room with a proximity sensor, this sensor will send signal to the controller. If the person leaves the room, the controller will respond and will turn OFF the lights and fans which were ON. Again. When the guests come back to room, then the proximity sensor detects the presence and the controller activates the power switch
