E-business and Globalization processes: Their Interdependency

Abstract


For staying abreast in today’s world Corporations pass through lots of stages in order to turn out to be an international corporation or company and profit from its advantages. Companies can rise above long-lasting limitations facing international commerce by utilizing the Internet. Companies must, first of all, prepare themselves for this dominating tool in the stages of globalization. By the emergence of the Internet many companies have attempted to reach to international markets and gain the advantages in this field. This review paper is to discover the interdependence of ecommerce and globalization. The impact of globalization on ecommerce and firm performance as the process of globalization has preceded the implementation of the Internet and e-commerce in time. Globalization has diverse effects on business to business and business to customer e-commerce, however highly global firms are more likely to do business to business but less likely to do business to customer. E-commerce will reinforce presented international competitive advantages. Internet has a strong influence on the globalization processes and even can alter the nature of these processes.
