Association between Background Characteristics and Maternal Health Literacy of Pregnant Women in the Central Region of Ghana

Abstract

The study examined some background characteristics and the association with knowledge on issues concerning maternal health, using pregnant women who attended ante-natal clinics at Central Regional and Asikuma District Hospitals. The study used descriptive cross-sectional survey design. A sample of 318 pregnant women was selected using simple random sampling.
