Biomedical applications of drug loaded protein-based polymer scaffolds and their in-vitro drug release profiles

Abstract


Varying amount of drug loaded zein protein nano-scaffolds with different cellulose acetate (CA) and ethyl cellulose (EC) polymer blend ratios were prepared by using single fluid electrospinning. Ketoprofen (KET) was selected as the model drug.
