Yield Improvement and Minimization of Sand Inclusion Defect in Steel Casting

Abstract


This could be increased by doing detailed review on the design and implementation in the pattern and the runner, riser design. Rearranging the length of the runner and riser we could drastically increase the yield. In runner implementing one chock which helps to collect the sand impurities separately.
