The Role of Competency-Based Approach in Developing Students’ Professional Skills

Abstract

The article deals with the issues related to the role of competency-based approach in developing students’ professional skills. As we know, the purpose of education is not just knowledge, skills, but the formation of “Communicative competencies”, which must be mastered for the socialization of a person, for his “productive adaptation” to this world. As well as, the author analyzed the research and commentary of researchers on the formation of the communicative competence of students and presented them in this article.
