Reina Astari Priandayu

Abstract

Some civil servants are not ready to face retirement. In dealing with this, an individual's self-assessment of his ability is called self-efficacy. This study aims to empirically examine the correlation between self-efficacy and retirement readiness among civil servants. Respondents in this study were 69 civil servants. Data collection used a scale of self-efficacy and retirement readiness scale. Data analysis techniques for this study used product-moment correlation. The results showed a significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and retirement readiness. This means that the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the retirement readiness among civil servants.
