The Importance Of The Student-Centered Approach In EFL Classes

Abstract


This article reveals two ways of teaching and learning dominant in my lessons, determining the ways in which these methods support deep approach to learning and commenting on the degree to which they involve student-centered learning. I will make comment on the problem of learning autonomy and review advantageous and effective methods to stimulate multilevel students into learning. Moreover, I will comment how these methods help to relate new information to previous knowledge of the students, considering their cultural and prior knowledge diversity, individual styles of learning activities encouraging students to step over the bounds.
