The Influence of Organizational Climate on the Organizational Commitment of Contract-Based Employees within the Building Management of Pakuwon Tower, Jakarta
Abstract
Organizational commitment is a positive relationship between employees and the company or organization, because employees who demonstrate high-commitment will have the desire to provide more strength and responsibility in supporting the company’s prosperity and success where they belong to. Pertaining to that, this study aim to determine how organizational commitment of employees may be affected by organizational climate. Subject of this study is contract-based-employees within the Building Management of Pakuwon Tower, Jakarta, with total population of 35 people and the entire population used as samples. Questionnaires are used as a method for collecting the data in this subject. The data analysis technique used in this study is a simple linear regression using the 20th version of SPSS application. The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant influence of the organizational climate on the contract employee’s organizational commitment, with value of F is 106,706 (> Ftable 3,270) and value of R square 0.764 (76.4%) which mean the organizational climate variables influenced by 76.4% to organizational commitment, while the remaining 23.6% is influenced by equations or other variables outside this study.
