A Study of Relationship between Attitude towards Environment and Social Conformity of Under Graduate Students

Abstract

For sustainable development of society, it is essential to develop and increase attitude of students towards environment. Tendency to save our environment should be inculcate in the children from the childhood with socialization. Environmental attitude is identified as the judgment; an individual has towards the protection and promotion of the environment. So, A study is administered to see the relationship between social conformity and environmental attitude of 100 under graduate girls students of arts & science stream belongs from urban and rural area and a positive correlation between social conformity and environmental attitude in urban area girls students is found. Girls of urban area have more positive attitude towards environment rather than students belongs to rural area.
