Heat Transfer Enhancement Using Mesh in Heat Exchanger with Nano Fluids

Abstract

There is a requirement for expanding of thermal systems to improve the heat transfer rates. In the test setup the strong nano particles of al₂o₃ are brought into the base liquid that is water and fine work is embedded into the inward container of double pipe heat exchanger. The volume of 0.1% of nano liquid is explored for various flow rates of plane tube and along with the fine mesh. The outcome shows an immense change in the effectiveness of the heat exchanger.
